Elouera Constructions was engaged to deliver a series of upgrade works at Cullunghutti Indigenous Childcare in Nowra, NSW, as part of a BGIS / Department of Communities and Justice project.
The works focused on improving the safety, functionality and usability of the childcare facility and its outdoor areas. The scope included upgrades to the children’s playground, new fencing, a new storage shed, new child-safety gates and barrier screens, along with painting works and improvements to the external blind and shutter systems.
The project also included upgrades and inspections connected to the site’s charged plumbing system and drinking water tank, helping support the ongoing operation and compliance of the facility.
Additional works included the installation of a compliant security system with CCTV, fire hydrant relocation, and the construction of a new compliant disability access ramp with a pebblecrete finish. Custom-fabricated handrails were installed to suit the upgraded access requirements and provide a practical, safe and durable finish.
