Elouera Constructions was engaged to carry out façade reconstruction works at Genesis Health & Fitness in Cairns, Queensland.
The project involved the careful demolition and removal of the existing corroded façade, followed by reconstruction works to improve the building’s presentation, durability and long-term performance. Due to the nature of the site, works had to be carefully planned and staged while the facility remained operational.
A key requirement of the project was maintaining safe and clear access to the front entrance for customers throughout the works. This required careful site coordination, safety management and communication to minimise disruption to the business and its members.
The scope also included new electrical and lighting works associated with the upgraded façade, helping complete the refreshed external presentation of the building.
This project demonstrates Elouera Constructions’ capability in delivering commercial refurbishment and façade upgrade works within live operating environments, with a focus on safety, access, presentation and practical delivery.
